ABOUT ME
Cassie Halaszynski is a senior at University of California, San Diego double majoring in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts (ICAM) and Japanese Studies. Born and raised in California, Cassie is the youngest of four children and the daughter of two architects. Her interests lie in understanding the positive impact that interdisciplinary design can have in a rapidly changing world and working towards a globally sustainable future. Her favorite projects involve both MPI (message passing interface/parallel computing) and drawing in combination. Outside of school, she has a love for coffee, house plants, and scrapbooking with her roommate. She also sails for the UCSD Sailing Team, travelling to regattas across California, Oregon, and even Texas. Cassie's goals for the future include travelling to all seven continents (she is at four so far) and completing her PhD.
