Dino Game

This game was made in P5Js (an opensource JavaScript library) to be used as a tool for beginner Japanese learners to practice their reading skills in a fun way. It was made as a part of a joint project to study the ways that fun learning methods are beneficial to language learners. Flavor Bursts

Flavor bursts is an interactive P5Js program written with the intention to be used with a Makey Makey (alligator clips that plug into a computer to turn objects into keyboard input) and fruit, however the program can be run used the arrow keys on a keyboard. Click on image try the program.

Hopping Through the Seasons

This MPI-based project runs an animation of a rabbit hopping across four different computer screens as the seasons change. The rabbit and background images are hand-drawn and the weather animations (snow, rain, and falling leaves) use the pygame.draw function and basic shapes. 

Sustainability in the Vernacular (Senior Project)

This program presents the viewer with a generative collage of  images of different localities vernacular architecture styles. Included in these images are different clothing, pottery, sculpture, and weaving examples of these same cultures, representing the concept of "Mingei" (art of the people) to go hand in hand with vernacular architecture (architecture of the people).
